The Forehead and Frown

Patients of all ages may benefit from a toxin treatment to the forehead and frown. There are a multitude of muscles responsible for raising the eyebrows and pulling the eyebrows together to form a frown.

It is appropriate to consider a toxin treatment to this area when the face is at rest and lines can be seen (often make up exaggerates the lines) or if you are carrying negative expressions on your face such as having an angry appearance when concentrating.  Toxin treatments prevent the upper-face muscles from moving and by the skin being more rested, it appears smoother and has an opportunity to improve in quality. For some female patients, a flattering brow lift can be achieved.

The results last for as long as it takes your body to grow back a part of the nerve responsible for communicate messages from the brain to move the muscle - this is approximately 8-12 weeks. However, most patients attend Juno Aesthetics for a toxin treatment 2-3 times a year at most.

Static lines on the forehead have been softened and by treating the brow too, the tail of the brow has lifted to slightly open the eyes up.
